British adult film star Bonnie Blue has publicly thrown her support behind Nigel Farage's Reform UK party, prompting a senior MP to state the party welcomes "all the support we can get".
An unlikely political endorsement
The endorsement came in a piece written by the 26-year-old content creator, whose real name is Tia Billinger, for The Spectator magazine. In it, she laid out her political views, explicitly backing Reform UK's stance on key issues.
"The tax system is terrible and it’s smart to leave if you have money," Blue wrote. "There are too many people here, we are too accommodating, and it is causing problems." She also criticised inheritance tax, arguing: "You shouldn’t have to pay any inheritance tax, as you’ve already been taxed on that money."
Reform UK responds: 'We'll take votes wherever we can get them'
When questioned about the adult star's backing at a Westminster press conference, Reform UK MP Danny Kruger gave a direct response. The East Wiltshire MP, who defected from the Conservatives earlier this year, confirmed the party was happy to receive her support.
"On Bonnie Blue I mean, listen, we’ll take votes wherever we can get them," Kruger said on Tuesday. "We know we want all the support we can get... But we, you know, we’re not going to be fussy about that." He added that he would not be "judgmental about people who want to vote Reform".
Endorsement follows Bali deportation controversy
Blue's political pronouncements come just days after she was deported from Indonesia. She was arrested in a raid on her Bali studio earlier in December, where police alleged those present were taking part in a "sex game" recording.
Indonesia has strict anti-pornography laws that can carry prison sentences of up to 15 years. Blue avoided jail but was deported, banned from returning for 10 years, and given a traffic fine equivalent to just over £6. This incident followed her deportation from Australia a year prior for targeting 'schoolies' celebrations.
Since returning to the UK, the Nottinghamshire-born creator has claimed she was betrayed by an organiser who charged her £75,000 for the ill-fated Bali venture. In her Spectator interview, she also shared views on the Royal Family, expressing support for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, stating: "He chose to step away and for that I give him a lot of credit."
