Looking ahead, Rees-Zammit is set to return to Cardiff's Principality Stadium with Bristol this Saturday, facing Harlequins, a team struggling with only two PREM Rugby wins this season. Expressing optimism about his current form, he said, 'I'm feeling a lot sharper now. It's obviously tough when you're out of the sport for two years. There’s a rusty phase.'

He also praised his club environment, adding, 'We’ve got an unbelievable team. It (Bristol) is the perfect place for me. I'm really enjoying my time here so far. I’m excited to see what we can do in the second-half of the season.' Bristol, who reached the play-off semi-finals last season, are aiming for another top-four finish and a serious title challenge.
