Instagram has crashed, leaving thousands of users worldwide unable to access the app. According to Down Detector, an online platform that monitors real-time status of various websites, the issues began shortly after 2:30 PM on Friday afternoon.
More than 3,000 problems were reported, with 68% of users struggling with the app, 12% unable to log in, and 10% experiencing server connection issues. Many users took to social media to report that while the main feed loads, Stories would not, and direct messages would not send.
One user wrote: “uhhhh is instagram down for anyone else or is my phone just bugging?” Another commented: “I can’t even log in.”
