Aldi has announced a temporary shake-up to the schedule of its popular SpecialBuys, as the festive bank holidays disrupt its usual weekly routine. Shoppers eager to browse the supermarket's famed middle aisle for bargains will need to mark new dates in their diaries for the post-Christmas period.
Revised SpecialBuys Release Schedule
The discount retailer typically releases new SpecialBuy products every Thursday and Sunday. However, with Christmas Day falling on a Thursday and New Year's Day also landing on the same weekday, the standard calendar has been adjusted.
An Aldi spokesperson confirmed the new arrangements: "The next Specialbuy release is scheduled for Sunday, December 28, so we’ll see new stock landing after the Christmas period. For the following week, Specialbuys will be released on Friday, January 2, and Sunday, January 4."
After this temporary change, the hunt for middle aisle deals is expected to return to normal. SpecialBuy releases will resume on their standard days from Thursday, January 8.
