Shoppers have another chance to snap up a 99p cup at Home Bargains that has a striking resemblance to a viral Starbucks sensation from earlier this year. The discount retailer has recently restocked a dupe of the viral 'bear cup' for a fraction of the cost.
Restocked Online
The budget store recently restocked the Bear-Shaped Tumbler with Straw online, with customers able to purchase it for 99p after it flew off the shelves when it was initially released. It provides fans who missed out on the viral item a chance to secure something remarkably similar to the branded £28 coffee cup.
The Viral Starbucks Craze
The viral Starbucks 'bear cup' rapidly gained worldwide internet fame for how difficult it was to get hold of after going on sale for a limited period at UK Starbucks branches back in January. Similar to scenes in America, fans queued outside their local coffee shops in the early hours after reports that outlets had only a handful in stock, leading to a one-per-person restriction.
The cups initially appeared on Home Bargains shelves in late April, and customers quickly bought up what was available. Now, there is fresh stock for online shoppers for just 99p, reports the Mirror.
Product Description
Describing the Bear-Shaped Tumbler with Straw online, Home Bargains says: "Sip in style with this adorable bear-shaped tumbler, perfect for adding a splash of fun to your drinks wherever you are. Just fill it up, sip through the straw, and enjoy a splash of fun wherever you go - home, work, or out and about."
The cup looks almost identical to Starbucks' design - right down to the green-coloured beanie hat and matching striped straw. The only major difference is that the discount version is made of plastic instead of glass and has no Starbucks logos or branding.
Delivery and Notifications
Customers who fall short of the £100 threshold for complimentary UK delivery will need to pay a charge of £3.95 for their purchases. Delivery timescales vary by product and postcode, but standard delivery usually takes around 5 days. Customers can register for notifications if an item they're after is out of stock. The retailer should send an email to shoppers who request to be informed when products become available.
Other Viral Products
Last week, the discount retailer restocked a viral laundry basket priced at £17 that sold out in February 2026. However, it could easily be mistaken for a pricier alternative sold at retailers such as John Lewis. As of June 19, customers can select between the light grey, charcoal and beige options of the Utility Double Laundry Basket. Describing the basket online, Home Bargains said: "Keep laundry day neat, tidy and totally stress-free with the Utility Double Laundry Basket, designed to make sorting simple and storage stylish."
With two 50L compartments, you can easily separate lights and darks (or towels and clothing). The portable inner bags with handles mean you can lift, carry and empty each load with ease. The basket is lightweight and foldable, making it perfect for compact spaces or easy storage when not in use, and you can choose from three colours to match your home perfectly.
