Michelle Keegan & Mark Wright's £2K-a-Night Abu Dhabi Winter Sun Escape
Keegan & Wright's lavish £2k-a-night Abu Dhabi holiday

Soap star Michelle Keegan and her reality TV husband Mark Wright are swapping UK winter chills for lavish Middle Eastern sunshine, enjoying an opulent family holiday in Abu Dhabi with their baby daughter.

A £2,000-Per-Night Winter Sanctuary

The couple, alongside their nine-month-old daughter Palma, have been residing at the ultra-luxurious Rixos Premium on Saadiyat Island. The resort commands a staggering rate of £2,000 for each night's stay, offering a pristine escape as cold weather grips Britain.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the 38-year-old former Coronation Street actress shared glimpses of their sun-drenched retreat. The visuals showcased palm-fringed pools, elegant outdoor dining areas, and the serene beauty of the location.

Family Moments in the Sunshine

The holiday has been a gentle introduction to travel for baby Palma. In one adorable snapshot, the infant appears utterly transfixed by the water splashing from a resort fountain. Another heartwarming image shows Michelle lovingly pushing Palma's pram during a golden hour stroll as the sun sets.

Keegan offered a relatable glimpse into parenting on holiday, captioning a video of her rocking the pram: "My new normal on holiday. Shade, find a quiet place, cramp in foot from rocking, forgot my headphones." She described their mornings with a clip tagged "Slow peaceful mornings."

Embracing a 'Quiet and Basic' Normal Life

Despite their high-profile careers, the couple fiercely protect their private family life. In a past interview with Grazia, conducted while she was pregnant, Michelle explained their approach. "Mark and I feel lucky to work in this industry, but it doesn't dominate our lives," she said. "We dip our toe in, then step back to normal life. It’s very boring and probably quite basic, but that’s how I like it."

She revealed her decision to stop publicly discussing her plans for a family due to relentless media speculation, stating that growing older had given her more confidence in setting boundaries.

Mark, who turns 39 this week, has been effusive about the joys of fatherhood since Palma's arrival in March 2025. Speaking on Heart radio, he gushed: "My little baby Palma, I love you so much and I can’t wait to spend my life with you. It’s the best feeling in the world." He also expressed profound admiration for his wife, acknowledging what motherhood entailed.

Looking ahead to his next decade, the former TOWIE star told Heat magazine that fatherhood has prepared him for a calmer life. "I already feel like I’m 40 with the way I live my life," he said. "I’m settled down and I’m in bed by 9pm every night, so I don’t think it’s going to change much."

For now, the family of three is fully immersed in their luxurious winter sun getaway, making cherished memories far from the British cold.
