An investigation is underway after two young children tragically lost their lives in a house fire in Wolverhampton. Emergency services were called to the blaze on Mason Street at approximately 8:30 PM on Friday.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and rescued the two children. Despite their efforts, the children were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other children and a woman managed to escape the fire and did not require hospital treatment.
