A man has been rushed to hospital following a stabbing incident in Melbourne's central business district.
Emergency services were called to Collins Street, near the intersection with Elizabeth Street, at approximately 2:10 PM on Monday.
The victim, a 37-year-old man, was transported to hospital with stab wounds to his upper body. He is currently in a serious but stable condition.
No arrests have been made thus far, and investigations are ongoing. Victoria Police have stated that it is yet to be determined how the man sustained his injuries.
Authorities are urging anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
