The attack occurred on West Town Lane at approximately 10:30 am yesterday, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement authorities.

The victim, a child whose identity is protected for legal reasons, was targeted during the morning hours. Police have released a detailed description of the suspect in an effort to aid public identification. He is described as being of mixed heritage, in his early twenties, with braided hair and a tattoo on his left forearm.
At the time of the assault, the individual was wearing a white hoodie, a black jacket, black jogging bottoms, and black trainers. A crime scene has been established on West Town Lane, and officers are meticulously reviewing available CCTV footage to trace the perpetrator's movements and gather crucial evidence.
