Woman Imprisoned for Revenge Porn Against Father's Mistress Recalled to Custody
A young woman who was sentenced to prison for posting naked photographs of her father's mistress on an escort website has been recalled to custody, according to official sources. Eleanor Brown, aged 26 from Morley in West Yorkshire, originally received a three-year prison term in October 2024, which was later reduced to two years on appeal.
Drunken Act of Vengeance That Led to Incarceration
Brown's criminal actions stemmed from a drunken act of revenge targeting the woman who had an affair with her father nearly a decade earlier. The affair, discovered when Brown was just 14 years old, had severely damaged her parents' marriage. In 2024, egged on by her mother Sarah and sister Sophie, Brown created a fake profile on the Viva Street escort website using explicit images of the mistress that her mother had provided.
The advertisement purportedly offered sexual services for £5 and overnight stays for £10, including the mistress's husband's phone number. Within thirty minutes of the ad being posted, the husband received fourteen text messages and eight calls from prospective clients. Brown later claimed she did not believe her actions would be considered revenge porn under the law.
Judicial Condemnation and Initial Sentencing
During her original sentencing hearing, the presiding judge described Brown's behavior as 'vindictive, selfish and vengeful' and noted her 'staggering lack of remorse' for the offense. The court heard how Brown had initially bombarded the mistress's husband's business social media pages with abusive messages before sending him the link to the escort advertisement along with a link to Celine Dion's song 'It's All Coming Back To Me Now.'
Police investigations revealed that Brown's sister Sophie, who was a serving police officer at the time, had encouraged the actions, though she faced no criminal charges. Brown was arrested at her home one week after creating the fake profile.
Release on Licence and Subsequent Recall
After serving half of her sentence, Brown was released late last year on licence with an electronic ankle tag fitted. However, a Ministry of Justice source confirmed she was recalled to prison last month for breaching her licence conditions, though the specific reasons remain undisclosed.
A Ministry of Justice spokesperson stated: 'Offenders released on licence are subject to strict conditions and we do not hesitate to send them back to prison if they break the rules.'
Defiant Social Media Posts and Lack of Remorse
Since her initial release, Brown has maintained a defiant stance regarding her crime, repeatedly stating on social media platforms that she feels no remorse. In multiple posts, she declared: 'I'm not sorry and never will be sorry' and described her imprisonment as being 'put in prison for a joke.'
Remarkably, even after being recalled to custody, Brown managed to post messages on Instagram complaining about prison conditions. In one recent post, she claimed prison authorities were preventing her from having 'contact with the outside world' and specifically blocking communication with her mother. She wrote: 'They will not facilitate contact with my mum because of what I have been recalled for... They won't let me have contact with outside world!!!!'
In a TikTok video before her recall, Brown elaborated on her position: 'If I could turn the clocks back the only thing I'd do differently is put my phone in the bin... But I am not remorseful. I do not hold any remorse in my body. I wouldn't do it again - your nudes are all safe - but I am definitely not remorseful.'
Family Dynamics and Lasting Consequences
The case highlights complex family dynamics, with Brown's mother Sarah still harboring resentment toward the mistress years after the affair. Sarah actively participated by sending the explicit images to her daughter, while Brown's sister Sophie encouraged the revenge scheme. Brown's father Geoff, a former police officer, had the affair that ultimately triggered these events.
Despite her criminal conviction and subsequent recall to prison, Brown claimed in social media posts that she had rebuilt her life after her initial release, stating she had 'got a job, got a house, got a nice fella, got good friends, got a good family.' However, her continued defiance and apparent breach of licence conditions have now returned her to custody, demonstrating the ongoing consequences of her actions.
