Disturbing body-worn camera footage has emerged showing the moment a convicted sex predator appeared more worried about missing his last train home than facing arrest for a serious sexual assault on the London Underground. Stanislaw Pozniecki, 49, was captured by British Transport Police officers displaying a shocking lack of remorse after targeting a lone sleeping woman on a Jubilee Line train.
The Predatory Assault on the Tube
The incident occurred on January 2, 2022, at approximately 11:45 pm aboard a southbound Jubilee Line service. Pozniecki approached a 25-year-old woman who was asleep, attempting to wake her before proceeding to sexually assault her. The victim awoke during the attack, at which point Pozniecki offered her £20 to sleep with him. When she refused and tried to push him away, the situation escalated further.
Confrontation at Wembley Park Station
Pozniecki followed the distressed woman off the train at Wembley Park station, pursuing her to a bench on the platform. Rail staff intervened, asking him to leave the area. Once he moved away, the victim immediately reported the assault to station personnel, who promptly contacted the police. Officers arrived swiftly and arrested Pozniecki at the station.
During his arrest, Pozniecki's primary concern was remarkably trivial compared to the gravity of his crimes. He protested repeatedly about having missed the last train, exclaiming, "the last train's gone, oh s***." This callous reaction was captured clearly on police body cameras, providing stark evidence of his complete lack of remorse for his predatory actions.
Legal Proceedings and Sentencing
Pozniecki initially pleaded not guilty to one count of assault by penetration but later changed his plea to guilty after British Transport Police detectives built what they described as a "compelling case" against him. He appeared at Southwark Crown Court on January 29, where he received a substantial prison sentence.
The court sentenced Pozniecki to four years and nine months imprisonment and ordered him to pay a victim surcharge. Additionally, he received a 15-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order that prohibits him from interacting with lone women in any manner on UK rail networks, including the London Underground. However, this order notably does not ban him from boarding Tube trains once he completes his prison term.

Detective Constable Jamie Saunders of British Transport Police commented on the case, stating: "Pozniecki sought out and assaulted a lone woman who was simply travelling home. His abhorrent actions were predatory and I am pleased to see him handed this jail term."
In a pointed caption accompanying the released bodycam footage, British Transport Police added: "He needn't have worried about transport arrangements - the trip to police custody was on us."
