Police and ambulance crews raced to a McDonald's restaurant in Tamworth on Monday evening following reports of a stabbing incident. The emergency response was triggered just before 8:30 pm at the fast-food outlet located on Bitterscote Drive within the Ventura Retail Park.

A 15-year-old boy from the Birmingham area was swiftly detained by officers from Staffordshire Police. He has been arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with the stabbing. The suspect remains in custody as police continue their investigations into the violent altercation that unfolded inside the restaurant premises.
Victim's Condition and Medical Treatment
The victim, identified as a teenage male, sustained a stab wound to his lower back during the incident. West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched multiple emergency units to the scene, including one ambulance, a paramedic officer, and a MERIT trauma doctor accompanied by a critical care paramedic.
Medical personnel treated the teenager for what were described as potentially serious injuries before transporting him to hospital for further assessment and care.
