A commercial airline pilot has reported witnessing what he believes was a missile launch in Iranian airspace while operating a passenger flight from Delhi to the United Kingdom. The incident occurred on February 28, 2026, with the aviator observing the event approximately 50 kilometres from Iran's northern border near Turkmenistan.
