Putin's Child Brainwashing Exposed: Mini Soldiers March in Schools

A shocking new documentary has exposed Vladimir Putin's extensive brainwashing of Russian schoolchildren, revealing how they are being moulded into miniature soldiers to feed his war efforts in Ukraine, where hundreds of thousands have already died. The film, titled "Mr. Nobody Against Putin," provides a clandestine look at education in the autocratic country, showcasing youngsters in a Siberian town who were secretly filmed by their now-exiled teacher.

Undercover Filming in a Siberian School

Filmmaker David Borenstein, who co-directed the documentary with Pavel "Pasha" Talankin, explained the risks involved. "We filmed undercover in Pasha's school for two and a half years, knowing that any misstep could result in Pasha losing his freedom," Borenstein said. Talankin, 34, worked as a videographer at Karabash School No. 1 in the industrial centre of Karabash, his former alma mater, where he outwardly complied with propaganda campaigns while secretly recording them.

The footage captures schoolchildren marching down corridors and swearing loyalty to the Kremlin, following a Russia Education Ministry directive that introduced fresh coursework designed to enforce devotion. The propaganda machine ramped up as Putin continued his disastrous war in Ukraine, turning the school into a conveyor belt feeding the brutal conflict.

Weapons Training and Patriotic Indoctrination

In one alarming segment, operatives from the Wagner mercenary army showcase combat methods and familiarise pupils with weaponry during a school gathering. The documentary also reveals that pupils take part in grenade-throwing competitions, sit through weekly patriotic lessons, and witness fellow students receiving their call-up papers.

Talankin, who pursued film studies in Chelyabinsk before returning home, acknowledged the dangers but was driven by his dedication to the film's core message. "Love for your country is not about putting up a flag," he stated. "It's not about singing the anthem either. It's not about exploitation and propaganda. Love for your country means saying: 'We have a problem.'" He added, "I love my job, but I don't want to be a pawn of the regime."

Escape and Warning for the Future

Just after the 2024 academic year ended, Talankin escaped from Moscow to Istanbul, where he met Borenstein face-to-face for the first time. Borenstein issued a stark warning based on their findings: "For anyone that watches this, the message that Putin is delivering to the children of Russia is clear: prepare for a future of warfare and empire. This does not end with just Ukraine."

The documentary highlights how Putin has tightened his iron grip on Russia since invading Ukraine, using education as a tool for indoctrination. With only a camera, Talankin documented this propaganda campaign, providing a rare glimpse into the systematic brainwashing of young minds aimed at sustaining military aggression.
