Beckhams Stun at Peaty-Ramsay Wedding as Brooklyn Skips and Groom's Family Feud Erupts
Beckhams dazzle at Peaty-Ramsay wedding, Brooklyn absent

The historic city of Bath provided a stunning backdrop for the wedding of Olympic champion Adam Peaty and television personality Holly Ramsay on Saturday 27 December, but the star-studded event was not without its dramatic undercurrents.

Fashion and Family on Display at Bath Abbey

Arriving at the magnificent Bath Abbey, which was lavishly decorated with hundreds of white roses, the guests formed a veritable who's who of British celebrity. Leading the fashion pack were David and Victoria Beckham, who looked impeccably stylish as they arrived with their children, Harper, Romeo, and Cruz. Their eldest son, Brooklyn, was a conspicuous absentee, amid reports of an ongoing family rift.

Victoria, 51, commanded attention in a sleek emerald green gown, accessorised with oversized sunglasses, while her 14-year-old daughter Harper mirrored her mother's chic aesthetic in a black satin dress and fur coat. David, 50, and his sons were the picture of elegance in classic black suits and bow ties.

A Bitter Family Feud Casts a Shadow

While the bride's side, including her father, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, beamed with pride, a starkly different story unfolded for the groom. A deep and very public family feud meant Adam Peaty's side of the family was almost entirely absent. The only relative from his family in attendance was his sister, Bethany, who served as a bridesmaid.

The groom's mother, Caroline, was dramatically banned from the wedding following a major falling out. Reports suggest tensions began at the couple's engagement party last year, which was filmed for a Netflix documentary, and escalated over disputes about the guest list and filming arrangements. The situation worsened when Caroline was not invited to Holly's hen do in November.

Insiders revealed that Peaty had even offered to buy his mother four outfits for the wedding, but was forced to intervene when she selected a cream gown, a colour traditionally reserved for the bride. A family member stated that Caroline had considered gatecrashing but ultimately decided against it to avoid ruining the couple's big day.

Celebrity Guests and Heartfelt Tributes

Other notable guests included MasterChef's Marcus Wareing and Dragons' Den star Sara Davies. The bride's mother, Tana Ramsay, wore a dark green dress designed by her close friend Victoria Beckham. The bride's sister, Tilly, was among the bridesmaids in a red dress.

Ahead of the ceremony, Gordon Ramsay shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, posting a photo with his daughter and writing: “I'm truly so lucky being able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gaining an incredible son in law @adam_peaty! I love you so much @hollyramsayy and couldn't be a prouder Dad xxx.”

The wedding, held at the Abbey which was reportedly rented for the entire day, showcased a classy white colour scheme. However, the joyous occasion was indelibly marked by the painful family division, proving that even the most glamorous celebrity weddings are not immune to personal strife.
