Supermodel Bella Hadid turned heads on Monday as she navigated the snowy streets of New York City in impeccable style, en route to a professional photo shoot. The 29-year-old fashion icon, recently in the headlines for calling out Dolce & Gabbana, was prepared for the harsh East Coast weather, layering a red varsity bomber jacket under a luxurious brown faux fur coat.
Pre-Shoot Preparations and Co-Star Wisdom
Arriving in Midtown Manhattan, Hadid was the picture of glamour despite the conditions. Her blonde hair was set in vibrant orange rollers in preparation for her modelling gig, and she sported heavy makeup alongside large black sunglasses. Her ensemble was completed with belted white trousers and a pair of practical black sneakers. In a playful moment, the Vogue cover girl was even spotted catching snowflakes with her tongue.
This outing follows the New York City premiere of her new project, Ryan Murphy's sci-fi body horror series 'The Beauty'. Hadid, who plays a model on a murderous rampage, shared the valuable guidance she received from her more experienced castmates, including Jeremy Pope and Ashton Kutcher.
"They were able to just tell me a lot of words and wisdom and explain to me that even being crazy and weird is still positive," she told People magazine. "And sometimes things are embarrassing and at the end of the day, it's not embarrassing. We're all able to be different versions of ourselves and that's what was most important for me on this set."
A Budding Actress Steps Out of Her Comfort Zone
Although she often filmed separately from the main cast, Hadid found their impact profound. She singled out Kutcher for his helpful advice and expressed deep affection for Pope, noting how welcoming the entire team was. The experience has solidified her desire to pursue acting further.
"I would love to keep continuing acting after this. This is a dream of mine," she revealed to The Hollywood Reporter. "I've brought my art side and my creativity to modeling, but at the end of the day, I love being able to move, and I love film and acting in general."
Hadid actively sought a role that would challenge her, specifically asking Murphy to make her look "haggard" and move away from a 'girl-next-door' image. She praised the acclaimed creator, saying, "Ryan has just an incredible brain... He's somebody I really look up to when it comes to directing, and I think he brings fantasy into so many things." She credits the role with pushing her into a new, desired version of herself, confirming she definitely stepped out of her comfort zone.
