Brooklyn Beckham has sparked speculation about his festive mood after sharing a pointed social media post, having opted to skip the wedding of long-time family friend Holly Ramsay. The 26-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham posted a picture of one of his rescue dogs wearing a green hat reminiscent of the Christmas character the Grinch.
A Notable Absence from Celebrity Nuptials
Holly Ramsay, 25, married Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, 31, in a ceremony attended by a host of famous faces. Among the congregation were Sir David and Victoria Beckham, who arrived with their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. The Beckham and Ramsay families have been close friends since the early 2000s, with their children growing up together after both moved to the United States.
However, Brooklyn's absence was conspicuous. He remained in Los Angeles, having also missed the Beckham family Christmas celebrations. While it is not confirmed if he declined an invitation or was not on the guest list, sources close to the Ramsays suggest they maintain an 'open door' policy towards Brooklyn, making a snub unlikely.
Deepening Family Rifts and Faded Friendships
Brooklyn's non-attendance adds to the narrative of an ongoing estrangement from his own family. Insiders claim the family believes Brooklyn has blocked them, signalling a state of 'complete estrangement'. This reported rift extends to his once-close friendship with Gordon and Tana Ramsay's eldest son, Jack.
The two were best friends from toddlerhood, but their bond is said to have fizzled out after Brooklyn began dating his now-wife, Nicola Peltz. Jack, now in the Marines, was also absent from Brooklyn and Nicola's vow renewal ceremony earlier this year.
