Brooklyn Peltz Beckham chose to spend the festive period with his wife's family this year, as speculation about a rift with his famous parents continues to swirl. The 25-year-old and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz Beckham, 30, shared images of their intimate Christmas celebration, which notably did not include his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
Festive Celebrations Apart
On Friday 27 December 2025, Nicola posted a series of photographs on Instagram showing the couple posing in front of a Christmas tree with her parents, billionaire investor Nelson Peltz and Claudia Peltz. Both Brooklyn and Nicola wore matching red festive pyjamas for the small gathering. "We wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy New Year filled with so much love, peace, and happiness," Nicola wrote in the caption of their joint post.
Just two days prior, on Christmas Eve, Brooklyn had shared a tender image on his Instagram Story, holding his wife's hand. The photo prominently displayed a tattoo on his hand reading "Beautiful girl Nicola." He captioned the post simply, "My everything x."
Clarifying the Social Media Block
The holiday separation comes amid ongoing reports of family tensions. Earlier in December, rumours suggested that David and Victoria had unfollowed their eldest son on Instagram. However, their youngest son, Cruz Beckham, swiftly moved to correct the record on his own Instagram Story.
Cruz stated clearly: "NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I." This pointed to Brooklyn himself taking the action to block his parents and brother on the platform.
Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham shared videos of her and David's Christmas celebration with Cruz. The footage included Cruz playing guitar and David receiving a home pedicure. Another clip showed David cutting down a Christmas tree, with Victoria humorously comparing him to Clark Griswold from the National Lampoon's Vacation films.
A Year of Reported Tensions
The apparent discord within the Beckham family has been a topic of speculation for much of the year. A rumoured rift between Brooklyn and his brother Romeo reportedly began in April 2025 over Romeo's then-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull. Tabloid reports from TMZ alleged that Turnbull had briefly dated Brooklyn in the past.
This tension was cited as the reason Brooklyn and Nicola skipped Victoria's Paris Fashion Week show in June, as Turnbull was reportedly in attendance. The couple also missed David's birthday celebrations in May, which at the time was said to have caused "tensions" with the Beckham family, according to sources speaking to People magazine. Romeo and Turnbull reportedly ended their relationship in June after seven months of dating.
In August, Nicola and Brooklyn renewed their wedding vows in a ceremony officiated by Nicola's father, Nelson Peltz. The glamorous event was centred around the Peltz family, with David, Victoria, and Brooklyn's three siblings—Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13—conspicuously absent from the shared photographs.
Brooklyn addressed the constant chatter about his personal life in September, telling the Daily Mail, "There’s always going to be people saying negative things, but I have a very supportive wife."
