Model Brooks Nadam Firmly Denies Romance Rumours Involving Ben Affleck
Brooks Nader took to her Instagram account this weekend to directly address and dismiss the swirling speculation that she had been involved in a romantic fling with Hollywood actor Ben Affleck. The model, who has frequently found her love life under intense media scrutiny, made her position unequivocally clear in a public comment.
A History of High-Profile Speculation
Nader's personal relationships have consistently captured headlines, particularly following her much-discussed 2024 involvement with her Dancing with the Stars professional partner, Gleb Savchenko. That association was frequently labelled a 'showmance' by commentators and fans alike. After their turbulent on-again, off-again relationship concluded definitively last year, Nader publicly accused Savchenko of infidelity, allegations which he has steadfastly denied.
Since that split, the model has been romantically linked to several other prominent figures, including legendary quarterback Tom Brady and Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece and Denmark. The latest name added to that list was Ben Affleck, prompting Nader to take decisive action to quash the gossip.
Putting Rumours to Rest on Social Media
The model, who currently stars alongside her sister in the reality television series Love Thy Nader, directly responded to a post on the popular gossip Instagram account DeuxMoi. The post had cited an anonymous source claiming that Nader and Affleck had 'never met.' Nader leapt into the comments section to confirm this account, writing plainly: 'Haven't met him in my life.' This definitive statement served as her official rebuttal to the burgeoning speculation.
Blake Lively's Legal Battle Reveals Plea to Ben Affleck
Nader's social media clarification emerges just days after the release of new court documents pertaining to a separate legal feud involving Ben Affleck. The papers relate to an ongoing and protracted dispute between actress Blake Lively and her It Ends with Us director and co-star, Justin Baldoni.
Seeking Creative Guidance Amid Conflict
The newly unveiled documents include an email, sent by Lively in May 2024 during the film's post-production phase. Although the recipient's name is redacted, context strongly suggests it was directed at Ben Affleck, who previously directed Lively in the 2010 film The Town. At that time, Lively and Baldoni—both of whom held producing credits—were reportedly locked in a fierce creative clash, allegedly assembling competing edits of the movie.
In her message, Lively appears to ask Affleck to 'watch the movie and give me any ideas or notes' on her version of the cut. She also alludes to 'wild HR issues' connected to Baldoni, who has vehemently denied Lively's allegations of sexual harassment, which form the basis of their legal battle.
Escalating Tensions and Broader Communications
The court filings further reveal that Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, allegedly sent messages to Affleck's close friend, actor Matt Damon, and his wife, Luciana Barroso. In these communications, they reportedly criticised Baldoni for his 'enormous ego.' Barroso is said to have offered sympathy for Lively's 'awful' experience, while Damon apparently responded by stating he and his wife would 'give you any help we can.'
In her detailed email to the presumed recipient Affleck, Lively described the filmmaking process as 'the most upsetting experience I’ve ever had on a movie.' She claimed to have rewritten and restructured the entire script and described the challenging dynamic of directing 'via the chaotic clown "director"/actor/producer/financier/studio head at the center.'
A Personal Appeal for Support
Lively's message extended the request for feedback to Affleck's then-wife, Jennifer Lopez, and his children from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner. 'I’m such a fan of Jennifer’s,' Lively wrote, referring to Lopez, 'and it would be an honor to have her take.' She concluded the emotional appeal by stating, 'This movie nearly killed me. And I can think of very few people who would be as prescriptive and insightful as I know you would be.'
Meanwhile, in the alleged messages to Damon and Barroso, Lively expanded on her difficulties, characterising Baldoni as having 'zero experience' and 'no taste,' while suggesting he was part of a cult. Damon, in his reported reply, humorously referenced his own production company, Artists Equity, by saying, 'We’re kind of like a cult but a really nice one.' Representatives for Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have been contacted by The Daily Mail for comment on these revelations.
