Coleen Rooney Embraces Milestone Birthday with Joy and Multiple Celebrations

In an exclusive interview with OK! magazine, Coleen Rooney has opened up about her approaching 40th birthday in April, expressing enthusiastic anticipation rather than apprehension about this significant milestone. The television personality and wife of former football star Wayne Rooney is planning to extend her celebrations throughout the year, taking advantage of her birthday coinciding with the Easter weekend when some friends may be traveling.

"I'm looking forward to it," Coleen declared. "I love a birthday and a celebration. I have decided to enjoy a couple of different celebrations with family and friends over the year."

Family Remains Central to Coleen's Life

Family continues to be the cornerstone of Coleen's existence, with much of her time dedicated to mothering her four sons: Kai (16), Klay (12), Kit (10), and Cass (8). Like many parents, her days are filled with school runs, playdates, and football matches. She emphasizes allowing her children to develop their own identities while instilling core values.

"Wayne and I have always wanted the boys to have good manners and be kind," she explained. "They all have different personalities and are growing up so quickly, but for us, we just want the boys to work hard and be happy."

All four boys share their father's passion for football, with eldest son Kai currently playing for Manchester United's Under 18s team. Coleen admits to experiencing greater nerves watching her sons play than she ever did watching Wayne during his professional career, though she makes every effort to attend their matches or monitor their progress through team communication channels.

Consistent Fitness Routine and Recent Injury

Despite currently planning lavish 40th birthday festivities, Coleen recently hosted a more subdued event focused on health and wellness. At Colshaw Hall in Cheshire on February 25th, she launched a new Applied Nutrition product during a lunchtime gathering that featured a pilates class attended by fellow WAGs including Lisa Carrick, Tanya Bardsley, Georgina Cleverly, and pregnant Annie Kilner.

As a brand ambassador for Applied Nutrition, Coleen maintains a disciplined fitness regimen that includes reformer pilates, swimming, and twice-weekly training sessions combining cardio, weight training, and overall body conditioning. However, she has recently faced a setback.

"Unfortunately I haven't been able to do that for a few months since I broke my foot!" she revealed.

When asked about maintaining her youthful appearance approaching 40, Coleen attributes her results to consistency in her daily routine, which includes Applied Nutrition collagen supplements, ample water consumption, and even squats performed in the shower.

Royal Encounter and Charitable Commitments

Earlier this year, Coleen found herself in regal company during an event at Windsor Castle honoring caregivers, where she met King Charles III. Dressed in a cream pinstripe blazer and matching tailored trousers, she curtsied for the monarch during what she described as "a really lovely evening" celebrating "the fantastic work" of carers.

This appearance aligns with Coleen's longstanding support for care-related causes, including Alder Hey Children's Hospital, influenced by her family's personal experience with foster care through her late sister Rosie.

Reflecting on the Windsor Castle experience, Coleen noted that her younger sons were particularly impressed that she had met the King, having previously visited the castle as tourists after a trip to Legoland.

Recent Television Success and Upcoming Product Launch

Coleen's public profile received additional attention when she became the last female contestant standing in the 2024 season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, ultimately finishing as runner-up to winner Danny Jones. This achievement added to her growing media presence alongside her family commitments and business ventures.

In conjunction with her birthday month, Coleen is launching Debloat Capsules through Applied Nutrition, which will be available in over 490 Boots stores across the UK from April 13th. The complete Coleen Rooney x Applied Nutrition product range is already available nationwide at Holland & Barrett stores.

As she approaches this milestone birthday, Coleen Rooney demonstrates a balanced approach to life that prioritizes family, maintains fitness discipline, supports charitable causes, and embraces business opportunities—all while planning celebrations worthy of her status as a beloved public figure.
