Love Island's Damiyah Split: A Witness Saw 'Real Deal' Months Before Breakup
Indiyah and Dami's 'Real Deal' Vibe Months Before Split

Love Island stars Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope have ended their three-year relationship, a split that comes just months after they appeared deeply in love at a high-profile London event.

A Night of 'Damiyah' at Gymshark

Journalist Molly Clayton, who attended an influencer event for activewear brand Gymshark in central London, recounted how the couple, known to fans as 'Damiyah', captivated the room. The event, held at the Regent Street branch, was transformed into a tribute to the pair with floor-to-ceiling images of them.

Dressed head-to-toe in Gymshark attire, Indiyah and Dami arrived together and were instantly the centre of attention. According to Clayton's account, they were inseparable throughout the evening, with hands constantly intertwined. They posed for photographs, shared kisses, and laughed between shots.

"They worked the room like pros: dancing, mingling and competing on the dance mats — but always within arm’s reach of one another," Clayton wrote. She noted that at one point, Dami was even pouring shots into Indiyah's mouth. For fans who had followed their romance since the 2022 series of Love Island, where they finished in third place, the display was powerful confirmation their love was genuine.

The Sudden Collapse of Trust

This cosy scene now starkly contrasts with the reality of their breakup, which was confirmed over the weekend of January 12-13, 2026. The split is attributed to a "breach of trust," as stated by a representative for Dami Hope.

Indiyah Polack, a 27-year-old media personality from London, issued a heartfelt apology on Instagram, though she has since unfollowed Dami on the platform. Dami, a YouTube star, has publicly referenced the betrayal.

A source told the Daily Mail: "Indiyah and Dami have sadly decided to part ways after three years together. It's been a difficult time for them both... no one expected their relationship to end so suddenly." The couple had built a life together following their stint on the popular ITV reality show.

Moving On Separately

Signs of trouble had emerged publicly prior to the announcement. Indiyah was seen attending the Pride of Britain Awards alone last year, without Dami by her side.

Both individuals are now focusing on their careers. Indiyah is concentrating on co-hosting her podcast, while Dami is continuing his work on YouTube. The source also confirmed that neither has plans to enter the Love Island: All Stars villa, with Dami reportedly viewing it as "an unforgivable level of disrespect" following their split.

The breakup marks the end of one of the most prominent couples to emerge from the 2022 series, leaving fans to reconcile the enduring image of a loved-up pair at the Gymshark event with the sudden and trust-shattering conclusion to their romance.
