Comedian and actor Jack Whitehall embarked on a memorable stag night in London's Soho district, marking his impending marriage to model Roxy Horner with a lively celebration alongside celebrity friends. The festivities, which unfolded over a six-hour pub crawl, saw Whitehall donning a golden crown as he led the group through various venues, starting at the Devonshire pub at 3pm on Saturday.
A Star-Studded Gathering
Whitehall was joined by a notable ensemble of pals, including former footballer Jamie Redknapp, actor and TV presenter James Corden, and ex-rugby player Lawrence Dallaglio. Corden and Redknapp share a professional history with Whitehall from their time on Sky's sports-comedy panel show A League Of Their Own, adding a layer of camaraderie to the reunion. Photographs from the event captured the group laughing and embracing, highlighting their close-knit bond as they raised glasses in high spirits.
Risque Venues and Playful Turns
By 5pm, the party transitioned to The Box in Soho, a risque cabaret venue typically reserved for evening events, where it is believed they enjoyed a private show. The celebrations took a playful twist at 8.30pm with a round of mini-golf at Swingers, a cheekily named mini-golf bar that added a lighthearted touch to the evening. Corden briefly disappeared for a couple of hours, sparking speculation that he might have stepped away to attend to family duties, such as putting his children to bed, before rejoining the group.
Late-Night Drinks and Wedding Preparations
The evening continued at the Soho Hotel bar, with whispers suggesting Whitehall may have been staying there, keeping the festivities going with late-night drinks. Whitehall and Horner, both 37, got engaged in December 2024 and are already parents to a two-year-old daughter named Elsie. Horner, a model and social media influencer, met Whitehall in 2019 through mutual friends, with sources describing an instant connection over shared humour and a love of London, leading to an inseparable relationship that has largely been kept private despite Whitehall's high profile.
Wedding Plans in Full Swing
Preparations for the wedding are said to be in full swing, with Horner trying on dresses, hosting bridesmaid meetings, and meticulously planning for the big day. Whitehall has openly discussed the nuptials during TV appearances, such as on The Jonathan Ross Show, where he humorously described the event as 'Downton Abbey meets EastEnders'. He highlighted the contrasting backgrounds of their families, noting his own as 'gilet-wearing chinless toffs' and Horner's as 'proper Cockney, all West Ham fans, proper salt of the earth'. This blend of personalities promises a unique and celebratory wedding atmosphere.
