Katie Price's former husband Alex Reid has launched a scathing attack on the glamour model following her surprise fourth wedding to Lee Andrews, a man she reportedly met just days before tying the knot in Dubai.

The mixed martial arts star, who was married to Price between 2010 and 2012, described her decision to marry Andrews as "irresponsible" and questioned her connection to reality. "She doesn't live in the real world," Reid told The Mirror in an exclusive interview.
Concerns About Family Impact
Reid expressed particular concern about the impact on Price's family, noting that her children were unaware of the new man in her life. "It's irresponsible on your family and the children to marry someone you don't know," he stated bluntly.
The 50-year-old added: "Her family said they're distraught, I read – I can understand that. It must not be nice for the kids, the younger ones, they don't even know this guy."
Questions About New Husband's Motives
Reid also raised questions about Andrews' intentions, noting that the millionaire businessman could be "madly in love" but could equally be seeking publicity. "Who knows. I hope he's in it for love and is a great moral influence – that would be nice," he commented.

In a pointed remark about Price's financial situation, Reid said: "I hope the marriage lasts longer than the court-ordered debts that she still owes me and to many others, demonstrating accountability and responsibility. It's not really her strong point."
He suggested Andrews might help Price with her financial management, saying: "Maybe, he could be the best thing in the world to happen to her. He could help her pay her debts and be more accountable with money."
Comparing Their Own Whirlwind Romance
Reid acknowledged that his own marriage to Price began dramatically with a Las Vegas wedding, but noted a crucial difference: "The difference is I had been with her for seven months, that's still nowhere near enough time to know someone."
He revealed spending approximately £90,000 on Price's engagement and wedding rings during their relationship.
Reflections on Their Marriage
Looking back on their time together, Reid described being "madly in love" but now believes it wasn't "real love." He explained: "I now know what real love is with my children and current partner. It's that we have absolute trust and got each other's backs, I never felt that [with Katie]."
The practising Christian added that his marriage vows "meant something" to him, but his union with Price felt like "a show, it was a pantomime."

Price's shock marriage to Andrews came just days after her split from boyfriend JJ Slater, with whom she had been in a relationship for approximately three years. "Maybe the romance was dead a long time ago, but poor JJ," Reid commented, before adding: "I can't talk – I got with Katie after Peter."

Reid emphasised what he sees as essential foundations for marriage, stating: "Responsibility and trust are the foundation of a successful marriage and to this point, she hasn't shown any of her husbands she's capable of holding those values."
