Former Love Island contestant Zach Noble has been treated in hospital after a frightening incident where his girlfriend's dog bit him in the face.
Hospital Dash After Canine Attack
The 28-year-old personal trainer, who appeared on the ITV2 dating show's 2023 series, required six stitches and a tetanus injection for a significant lip wound. Noble took to Instagram to share graphic footage of the aftermath, filmed alongside his 24-year-old girlfriend, internet personality Ava Hirons.
In the video, posted from a hospital setting, Noble wrote humorously: "POV: WHEN I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH HER ADHD AND THE FACT HER DOG BIT ME." He can be heard telling Hirons: "Ever since you entered my life, things have just gone downhill, proper."
Romantic Aftermath and Culprit Revealed
Ava Hirons, whose mother is This Morning skincare expert Caroline Hirons, responded with surprise before zooming in on his injured face, giving him a kiss, and singing James Blunt's "You're Beautiful." The clip then cuts to a shot of the dog resting on Noble's chest, overlaid with the text: "1 TETANUS SHOT."
Further images showed Noble in A&E with the nasty cut, captioned "4 HOUR WAIT," and a picture of medical staff treating him, captioned "6 STITCHES." The video concluded with a shot of the dog responsible, tagged: "FOR THIS REALLY." Noble summarised the post with: "What a dog." Hirons joked in the comments, admitting: "It's true guys... I did it he should leave me."
When a fan expressed hope the dog wouldn't make a habit of it, Noble was quick to defend the pet, replying: "Na was my fault."
Relationship Timeline and Past Romance
Zach Noble and Ava Hirons confirmed their relationship in October 2025, three months after Noble's split from his Love Island partner, Molly Marsh. Noble and Marsh, both 24, met on the show's tenth series, finishing in fourth place. They split briefly in 2024 before rekindling their romance, ultimately parting ways for good in July 2025.
Marsh announced their split on Instagram Stories, stating they had "parted ways as friends." A source told The Sun at the time that the decision was mutual and there was "no bad blood."
Noble's new romance with Hirons reportedly began after several dates, with an insider describing an "instant spark." They noted that Noble wasn't "rushing into anything serious" so soon after his previous relationship. The pair have since confirmed their status by posting affectionate pictures together on social media.
