Molly-Mae & Tommy Fury's Maldives NYE 2025: A World Away from 2024's Viral Kiss Drama
Molly-Mae & Tommy's Maldives NYE After Year of Drama

Influencer Molly-Mae Hague and boxer Tommy Fury are welcoming the new year in luxurious style, celebrating with their daughter Bambi in the Maldives. This serene family holiday marks a dramatic turnaround from their headline-grabbing start to 2025.

From Viral NYE Kiss to Maldives Paradise

The couple's current idyllic retreat is a world away from the events of last New Year's Eve. At that time, Molly-Mae and Tommy had been split for several months following their breakup in August 2024. Their surprise reunion came at a New Year's party hosted by Manchester United footballer Luke Shaw in Cheshire.

In a moment captured on video and later sold to the press, the pair shared a kiss at midnight. Molly-Mae addressed the intense scrutiny this caused in her Prime Video documentary series, Molly Mae: Behind It All. She described Tommy arriving just ten minutes before the countdown and the kiss as an unplanned, private moment that became very public.

"I'm literally shaking. That is so bad," she was seen saying while watching the clip in the documentary, expressing her dismay at the invasion of privacy.

The Path to Reconciliation and Sobriety

The couple officially called off their engagement in August 2024, with reports suggesting Molly-Mae had struggled with Tommy's partying lifestyle while she cared for their toddler. However, by May 2025, they had rekindled their romance.

A key factor in their reconciliation was Tommy Fury's commitment to becoming sober. In a candid interview with Men's Health Magazine, the boxer openly discussed his past struggles. "The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn't be the partner that I wanted to be anymore," he confessed.

He stated he had quit drinking, a decision that allowed him to fully recommit to his family. Since getting back together, the pair have enjoyed holidays in Turkey and Dubai and have been focusing on raising their two-year-old daughter.

Building a Future Together

Now fully reconciled, Molly-Mae has revealed she is moving back full-time into the couple's shared mansion, which is undergoing renovations including a pool and sauna. The founder of the fashion brand Maebe has been documenting the process for her followers.

The family spent Christmas hosting Tommy's relatives, and their current last-minute trip to the Maldives will see them ring in 2026 in South Asia. Molly-Mae has shared snaps of the trio sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying ice cream, painting a picture of a united and happy family unit.

This peaceful New Year's celebration stands in stark contrast to the drama of the previous year, symbolising a fresh start built on Tommy's sobriety and their shared focus on family life.
