Munn revealed that Mulaney, father to their two young children, attended every single doctor's appointment and surgical procedure with her. "There's no better person in the world to me than my husband," Munn emotionally stated during an interview on CBS Sunday Morning. "I went from feeling completely fine one day, to waking up in a hospital bed after a 10-hour surgery the next," she wrote in her social media post detailing the experience.

"I’m so thankful to John for the nights he spent researching what every operation and medication meant and what side effects and recovery I could expect," she shared.
