Socialite Poppy Delevingne provided her followers with a rare and intimate glimpse into her life as a new mother this weekend, posting heartwarming images on Instagram that captured precious moments with her baby daughter, Kaia Moon.
A Candid Look at Motherhood
The 39-year-old model and influencer appeared radiant and utterly devoted as she shared behind-the-scenes snapshots from her journey into parenthood. In one particularly touching photograph, she captured her little daughter playing happily in the grass, while another showed Poppy herself beaming in a selfie surrounded by blooming flowers.
"Like Mama, like daughter *Spring edition," she captioned the post, perfectly encapsulating the tender bond between mother and child.
Welcoming Kaia Moon Keswick
Poppy welcomed her newborn daughter in May 2025 with partner Archie Keswick, a prominent British businessman. The couple first went public with their romance in July 2024 during the BST Hyde Park festival, and by January 2025, they joyfully announced they were expecting their first child together.
Last year, Poppy marked her daughter's arrival with a poignant black-and-white Instagram image showing her clutching the infant's tiny hand. She wrote emotionally: "20.05.25 The stars aligned, & then there was you."
In that same announcement, she revealed her daughter's full name: Kaia Moon Keswick, adding warmly: "Welcome to the world, baby bear. You have our hearts, our everything."
"All I've Ever Wanted"
Speaking to Elle magazine at the time, Poppy expressed that becoming a mother represented the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. "It's all I've ever wanted," she confessed, her voice filled with emotion and gratitude.
The socialite first discovered she was pregnant during London Fashion Week, noticing her clothes felt unusually tight during a fitting for a Burberry show. Sensing something significant had changed, she took a pregnancy test shortly afterward and learned she was expecting a daughter.
"Obviously, I would have been fine with either," she told ELLE UK in January. "When I was younger, I always thought when I get pregnant, I wouldn't find out, but the second we got told we could find out, we did. I'm so excited. I come from all girls, we're very girl-heavy. Girls are great."
Family Celebrations and Protective Privacy
Poppy's sisters—model Cara Delevingne, 32, and socialite Chloe Delevingne, 39—were both delighted when she shared the pregnancy news with them. "We were all in New York, with each other and with the bump," Poppy recalled. "There was a lot of talking to the bump, stroking the bump. They're just elated."
The couple chose to keep the pregnancy private initially, only informing close friends and family around the four-month mark. Poppy admitted she felt "really nervous" about the pregnancy and wanted to "protect" that special time for a while.
"It just feels like such an extraordinary privilege to be able to do this," she explained. "To be able to have a baby at this age and at this time, and when it happened, I couldn't really believe it."
Poppy has long expressed her desire to start a family, though in recent years she had begun to wonder if motherhood might not happen for her. She revealed she had "made peace with it" before discovering she was pregnant, making Kaia's arrival all the more miraculous and cherished.
