Sami Sheen's Instagram Post Amid Family Grief Over Patrick Muldoon's Death
Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen's daughter, Sami Sheen, shared a striking Instagram post on Monday, showcasing herself in a plunging hot pink swimsuit while posing in a Palm Springs backyard. The 22-year-old reality TV star, with her brown hair in soft waves and bold plum lip makeup, appeared ready for a close-up during a break from the Coachella Music Festival.
Family Mourns Patrick Muldoon's Passing
This social media update comes shortly after the tragic news that Richards' ex-boyfriend, Patrick Muldoon, died from a heart attack at his Beverly Hills home at age 57. Richards and Muldoon began dating in 1997 after meeting in acting class and later co-starring in Starship Troopers. Although their romantic relationship ended around 2000, they remained close friends, with Muldoon making appearances on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Denise Richards And Her Wild Things.
Richards has not yet publicly commented on Muldoon's death, but Sami's younger sister, Lola, shared a heartfelt tribute on Monday, describing the actor as "a huge part of our family and life will never feel the same." She added, "Your voice always brightened my day and I'm gonna miss hearing it."
Sami Sheen's Tattoo Removal Plans
Meanwhile, Sami revealed last year that she is preparing to remove all 18 of her tattoos, a process she anticipates will be very painful. In a November TikTok video, she explained her decision, stating, "I'm removing every single tattoo on my body, so I figured I would do a tattoo tour." She admitted, "The reason why I've never done a tattoo tour before is because I'm severely insecure about all of my tattoos. I got all of them before any part of my brain was developed."
Sheen got her first tattoo at 16 years old, a butterfly on her left arm that she found on Pinterest, which she now regrets. Other early tattoos include a bear holding a flower and a cherub smoking a joint with a crooked wine glass, which she calls her "least favorite tattoo." She noted that many of these designs were done by her cousin while practicing tattooing, leading to thick lines and poor execution.
At 18, she began getting professional tattoos, such as butterfly wings on her back, which she might keep due to the pain of removal. However, she expressed uncertainty about tattoos on her arms, given her career aspirations. Other tattoos include:
- A cow with a heart on its forehead, reflecting her love for animals.
- A text reading "We accept the love we think we deserve," poorly executed.
- A rose and an 11:11 design on her wrist.
- A ladybug, a bow with ribbons, a horseshoe, and a cowboy boot.
- A rainbow from her first pride parade and a disco ball with the phrase "Food for the soul."
- A Chrome Hearts cross and a tattoo of her childhood dog, Sugar, on her ankle.
Sheen concluded her tattoo tour by expressing excitement about the removal process but acknowledged it could take up to two years. This personal revelation adds a layer of vulnerability to her public persona, contrasting with the glamorous image she projected in her recent Instagram post.
