Tallia Storm Speaks Out on Brooklyn Beckham's Family Feud

As the fallout from Brooklyn Beckham's explosive statement about his estranged family continues to dominate headlines, one of his former girlfriends has broken her silence. Singer Tallia Storm, who dated Brooklyn as a teenager, has shared her perspective on the ongoing feud, offering a glimpse into her own experiences with the Beckham clan.

'Victoria Didn't Like Me' Claims Tallia

Tallia Storm, now a Scottish singer and presenter, recalls her teenage romance with Brooklyn Beckham, describing him as her 'first love'. The pair were just sixteen years old when they began seeing each other in 2014. However, Tallia suggests that Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn's mother, was less than approving of their relationship.

She explains a particularly telling incident: "I was meant to attend the Global Gift Gala with Brooklyn, hosted by Eva Longoria. I was already inside, super excited to sit next to him, when he messaged me on the night itself saying, 'my mum won't let me come, I'm sorry.' And that was that. Obviously, Victoria didn't like me or whatever."

PR Storms and Paparazzi Panic

Tallia details how Victoria Beckham's involvement allegedly created unnecessary drama. During one of Tallia's early music gigs at Hanover Square in London, she claims Victoria sent a security team to check the venue beforehand. "I thought it's not that deep, but er, OK!" she remarks.

The situation escalated when they left the venue: "When we left with his security, there were like twenty paparazzi outside. It was my first experience of anything like this, it was wild. I got such a fright - I did not want Brooklyn to think I'd called the paps!"

Tallia maintains this experience has affected her reputation: "It's always made me look like I was some sort of fame-hungry wannabe. It's like a bit of a sticky web and not something I ever want to engage in."

Support for Brooklyn's Statement

Regarding Brooklyn's recent public statement distancing himself from his family, Tallia expresses strong support. "My first thought was, good for him," she confesses. "People have all heard a million stories over the years, and I just think, God bless Brooklyn for just coming out and sticking up for himself."

She continues: "I am one hundred percent Team Brooklyn. I think what that boy has gone through over all these years, in that Beckham 'web', as I call it, is a lot. It's a lot on any person. So, good on him, saying, 'enough is enough'. This is him taking back his power."

Reflections on the Beckham Family Dynamic

Despite her criticisms, Tallia recalls positive interactions with the Beckhams during her teenage years. "When we started hanging out, David would drop him off at my house in London, I would go to theirs - I've met Victoria and honestly, it was just all lovely," she remembers.

She describes Victoria as "very chatty and bubbly" who "would always bring big energy." The first time they met, Victoria was wearing stripy pyjamas, which Tallia found "iconic." She adds, "I only went to their Holland Park home a couple of times, but they just seemed like a normal, loving family. All very easy-going. I never saw any crazy, diva moments."

Thoughts on Brooklyn and Nicola's Relationship

Tallia offers support for Brooklyn's wife, Nicola Peltz, whom she has never met personally. "I do think Nicola is Brooklyn's soulmate. And I do think they're a little dream team," she says. "Good for him, for taking a stand. I'm proud of him. It takes a lot to come out and say what he says."

She reflects on family dynamics: "Especially with boys, they tend to gravitate to the wife - happy wife, happy life. I don't know if Victoria was ever picking on Nicola or not, but that's a dangerous route to go down."

Sympathy for Brooklyn's Public Scrutiny

Tallia expresses sympathy for the intense public scrutiny Brooklyn has faced throughout his life. "That boy hasn't had an easy run. And he's been heavily scrutinised whatever he does, from photographing elephants to cooking - he can't catch a break," she observes.

She contrasts this with her own experiences: "I don't enjoy anywhere near the level of fame as Brooklyn, but I know that whatever I've done since I get asked constantly about Brooklyn - so imagine him?! I have often thought about what he goes through."

Changing Perspectives on Family Reconciliation

Last summer, Tallia expressed optimism that the Beckhams would reconcile like any normal family. However, following Brooklyn's statement, her perspective has shifted entirely.

She explains: "I like to remain optimistic - I have a big family and we're very close, I'd hate to fall out with them. I fight with my family all the time, but we always make up. As my mum always says, if your family isn't happy, what's it all for - how much fame, how much money is enough?"

Tallia suggests the Beckhams' public image may have contributed to their current situation: "Maybe that's the Beckhams' problem. They don't allow for any normal ups and downs. Maybe that picture-perfect life has taken a toll. I just don't know. But sadly, I don't think there's any going back..."

Though they move in "totally different circles" nowadays and haven't stayed in close contact, Tallia says she and Brooklyn always catch up when they bump into each other at events. She won't be reaching out following his explosive post but hopes to see him and Nicola at the upcoming Grammy Awards, where she'll be working as a red carpet presenter.
