Taylor Swift's personal beauty and skincare favourites have been uncovered by sharp-eyed viewers of her recent Eras Tour documentary series. The global superstar, 36, has offered fans an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at her life during the colossal two-year tour in the documentary, which released its latest two episodes last week.
Luxury Candles and High-End Haircare
In the new episodes, which feature scenes in Swift's dressing room and hotel, glimpses of her preferred products were visible. Although the singer appeared to deliberately obscure some labels, dedicated TikTok sleuths, led by beauty editor Lauren Capon, successfully identified many items.
One of the first discoveries was a luxury candle from the brand Le Labo, seen lit in her hotel room. Priced at around $90, the candle is believed to be the brand's famous Santal 26 scent, known for its smoky, leathery aroma.
During a quick-change segment in the concert film, Swift was seen using the $118 Crown Affair Dual-Bristle Boar Hair Brush No. 001. Designed for all hair types, the brush uses boar bristles to detangle and massage long hair.
Affordable Staples and Skincare Secrets
Not all her choices were high-end. In one scene, despite a blurring filter, Capon identified the unmistakable bottle of L'Oreal Paris Elnett hairspray, a favourite among celebrities like Kris Jenner. A smaller bottle of this "gold standard" hairspray retails for under $10 in drugstores.
The documentary also showed what Swift's wardrobe team carries for her rapid costume changes, including an $8 Dove spray-can deodorant in scents like fresh cucumber or coconut.
Earlier episodes revealed Swift's post-show skincare routine, featuring premium products. She was seen using a $100 Super Anti-Aging Cleansing Cream by Barbara Sturm, haircare from Christophe Robin (over $40 per bottle), a Tata Harper cleanser, and a $28 body cleanser from Ouai.
Swift's Philosophy on Beauty and Aging
This peek into her routine aligns with thoughts Swift shared in a 2019 Elle column, where she listed 30 lessons learned before turning 30. She wrote about now moisturising her face and body every night, a habit she adopted after her "teen years and early twenties of sleeping in my makeup."
She also spoke candidly about societal pressures on women regarding aging. "I've learned that society is constantly sending very loud messages to women that exhibiting the physical signs of aging is the worst thing that can happen to us," Swift wrote. She praised Jameela Jamil for being outspoken on the subject, calling the pressure to defy aging an "impossible standard" not required of men.
The documentary series continues to provide fans with unprecedented access, proving that even the smallest background details can spark widespread curiosity and conversation.
