In a candid revelation, Louis Tomlinson's twin sisters have publicly addressed and dismissed the widespread belief that their multi-millionaire brother financially supports their lifestyle, labelling the assumption "absolutely false".
Setting the Record Straight on 'Tea With The Twins'
During the latest episode of their podcast, Tea With The Twins, 21-year-olds Phoebe and Daisy Tomlinson directly confronted the persistent rumours. They were discussing festive family plans when the topic arose. Daisy was emphatic in her clarification, stating, "This is probably the most common assumption... and I'm very delighted to set this straight that we get no financial benefit personally from our brother in terms of like day-to-day life, cars, houses, anything like that."
Her sister Phoebe reinforced the point, adding, "Our first car we bought ourselves. Houses obviously, no help. So yeah, that is completely false. But very easily assumed – a lot of people say that." The twins did acknowledge that the former One Direction star, 34, is "very generous" with birthday and Christmas gifts and would be supportive in an emergency, but stressed that everything they own has been self-funded.
Building Their Own Careers in the Spotlight
The sisters have been in the public eye since Louis's fame skyrocketed with One Direction in 2015, collectively amassing over 2.4 million social media followers. They have leveraged this platform to forge their own successful paths. Both have secured high-profile modelling contracts and collaborations with major brands like PrettyLittleThing and Boux Avenue.
Their lives continue to attract interest; Phoebe is a young mother, and Daisy is in a relationship with footballer Ryan Viggar. Currently, the duo is focusing on several "big projects" they can "do as twins," though Daisy admitted they tend to argue more when working together due to the pressure.
Family Bonds and New Additions
In a separate but related family update, Phoebe recently revealed that Louis's girlfriend, Love Island star Zara McDermott, has met her daughter, Olive. Sharing an adorable snapshot on Instagram of Zara playing with the little girl on a rocking horse, Phoebe confirmed the meeting to her 1.1 million followers with the caption, "She has! Girlies." Louis and Zara went public with their relationship earlier this year.
The twins' clear message is one of independence. While proud of their brother and appreciative of his familial generosity, they are determined to be recognised for their own accomplishments and self-sufficiency, firmly dispelling the myth that their lifestyle is bankrolled by Louis Tomlinson's fortune.
