Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger has disclosed that she was propositioned with a staggering six-figure sum to spend a night with a stranger. The 39-year-old reality television personality, who rose to fame in the early 2010s, now runs a subscription page on the adult content platform OnlyFans alongside her TV work.
The Lucrative Offer She Couldn't Accept
During an appearance on Olivia Attwood's ITV show, Getting Filthy Rich, Goodger revealed the eye-watering details. One subscriber directly offered her £150,000 for a single night together. She admitted the proposition was financially tempting, stating it was "hard to turn down," but she ultimately refused. "Never. Not being wrong, it’s hard to turn down but I couldn't," Goodger explained. "I can’t even sleep with a guy in real life."
While she declined that specific offer, Goodger does create custom content for fans on the platform, for which she typically charges around £6,500. She confessed that during the peak of her mainstream television career, she never imagined she would resort to such work.
From TV Fame to Financial Necessity
Goodger told Attwood that the COVID-19 lockdown was a pivotal moment, halting photo shoots and filming and leaving her with significant bills. "I sort of got backed into a corner," she said. "I was like I’m just gonna have to do it." She showed the Loose Women presenter a topless photo that earned her thousands of pounds but was candid about her ambivalence towards the platform.
"I wouldn’t want to sit here and be like I absolutely love it," Goodger shared. She expressed concern about the stigma attached to OnlyFans, acknowledging that people might question why a "successful lovely girl" would engage in such work. "I can’t tell the world it’s not what you think," she added.
Addressing the Stigma and Financial Reality
The reality star revealed that even a close friend urged her to delete her OnlyFans account, insisting she was "better than this." However, Goodger defended her choice as a matter of practical necessity. "Without OnlyFans I wouldn’t be able to pay all my bills," she stated. "I have my house, my car, my child so don’t judge me. I’m not doing it so I can buy a Chanel handbag. I need the money."
Reflecting on her past, Goodger also spoke to Closer magazine in 2025 about regretting extensive cosmetic procedures funded during her peak earning years. "I probably earned the most, but lost a hell of a lot," she said, adding that the surgeries now cause her pain and she wishes to have them all reversed to return to a natural look.
