Radio Host Woodsy Details Shocking Mid-Flight Confrontation Over Disgusting Act

Triple M Breakfast co-host Aaron 'Woodsy' Woods has sparked widespread discussion after revealing a disturbing incident he witnessed and confronted on a recent domestic flight. The 34-year-old radio personality detailed on his show Beau, Cat & Woodsy how he saw a fellow passenger commit what he described as a 'disgusting' act while travelling from Melbourne to Sydney.

The Unsettling In-Flight Observation

Woodsy explained he was watching Breaking Bad during the flight when his attention was drawn to a woman seated several rows ahead. 'I'm sitting back, right into it, and about three seats in front of me I see this lady with her finger in her schnoz,' Woodsy recounted to his co-hosts. 'She keeps playing with [her nose] and she pulls [her finger] out and there's this big booger on the end of her index finger, and she starts to roll it with her thumb.'

The radio host admitted he watched with morbid fascination, initially believing the woman might consume her own nasal mucus. 'I'm thinking, "This could be awesome, she could eat this here!" You know, I'm a sicko, I'm like, "This is great!"' he confessed, prompting co-host Beau Ryan to pretend to vomit in disgust during the broadcast.

The Shocking Act That Prompted Confrontation

What happened next left Woodsy stunned and compelled him to take action. Rather than disposing of the mucus discreetly, the woman flicked the bogey onto the passenger seated directly in front of her. 'She puts it on the end of her finger and goes bang! Flicks it. It lands on the lady in front of her, on her coat,' Woodsy described, adding his immediate reaction was disbelief: 'I'm sitting there like… "What have I just witnessed?"'

Initially uncertain how to respond, particularly with the seatbelt sign illuminated during their descent into Sydney, Woodsy decided he couldn't ignore the transgression. 'I'm waiting and I'm thinking, "What do I do here?"' he recalled before determining: 'I'm not copping this.'

The Direct Confrontation and Resolution

Woodsy took decisive action, approaching the woman's seat to address the situation directly. 'I've got up, walked three rows down, and I've tapped her on the shoulder and I've gone, "What the hell is this?"' he recounted. The woman initially denied the accusation, but Woodsy insisted she rectify her behaviour. 'She's just said, "No, no, no!" I'm like, "Yes, yes, yes! Pick it up now." So, she had to pick it off the lady in front of her. It was disgusting!'

Co-hosts Beau Ryan, 40, and Cat Lynch praised Woodsy for his intervention, commending him for addressing what they termed 'bad behaviour' directly. 'You've seen bad behaviour, and you've called it out,' Beau stated, while Cat added her approval: 'I love that.' Woodsy concluded the anecdote with characteristic humour, joking: 'I would be happier if the lady ate the booger rather than flicked it on someone.'

The incident has highlighted broader questions about passenger etiquette and appropriate responses to antisocial behaviour during air travel, with Woodsy's direct approach generating both support and discussion among listeners about how such situations should be handled in confined public spaces.
