Former WAG and fashion designer Nadia Bartel made a bold sartorial statement at the Australian Open in Melbourne this week, commanding attention in a head-turning sheer ensemble from her own label.
A Daring Fashion Moment
Attending the tennis tournament on Thursday, the 40-year-old opted for a pair of completely see-through white trousers, offering a glimpse of her matching underwear beneath. She styled the audacious pants, which are from her brand Henne, with a coordinating white sleeveless blouse featuring frayed edges, also from her collection.
In posts shared to her Instagram Stories, the brunette modelled the striking look and revealed she was wearing a size six. She completed the outfit with a pair of designer white heels and a chunky silver watch.
Plans for a Quiet 2026 and Future Hopes
The fashion appearance comes after Bartel shared insights into her personal life, indicating 2026 will be a quiet year focused on family. She has been in a relationship with partner Peter Dugmore for three years and, while they plan to marry, she is in no rush.
'I feel like 2026 is going to be really quiet on the home front,' she told the Daily Mail at a Grey Goose party during the Open. 'There is nothing too exciting planned… I just want to slow down and spend more time with my boys.' She shares sons Aston, 10, and Henley, 7, with her ex-husband, former AFL star Jimmy Bartel.
Despite her domestic plans, Bartel admitted her work schedule remains hectic. 'Business is actually the opposite though... there is a lot happening behind the scenes,' she explained, noting plans for overseas trips to Dubai and the US to discuss the 'next chapter' for her brand.
Marriage and Family on the Horizon
When pressed on marriage, Bartel told the Herald Sun she intends to wed Dugmore, but only once her sons are older. 'We will get married one day, once the boys are a bit older,' she stated. She also expressed a hope to use IVF to have a child with Peter, calling it a 'unique experience' she would like to share with him.
The couple, who made their first public appearance at the 2024 Australian Open, continue to be a fixture at the Melbourne event, blending high fashion with candid revelations about their life together.
