Sony has unveiled the lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in May 2026, and it features some major titles. Starting May 5, PS5 owners can add EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols to their libraries.
EA Sports FC 26
The headliner for May is EA Sports FC 26, joining PS Plus seven months after its September 2025 launch. While the initial live service excitement may have faded, its gameplay remains top-notch, offering an enjoyable football experience both offline and in local co-op.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers
For those seeking a challenge, Wuchang Fallen Feathers is a soulslike action game set during the Ming Dynasty. Players explore the depths of Shu, enhancing their arsenal and mastering new skills from fallen foes. The game features a unique fighting style evolution through sacrificing Red Mercury and developing new techniques.
Nine Sols
Nine Sols is a side-scrolling indie game with hand-drawn graphics and combat inspired by Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. It shares similarities with Hades 2 and Hollow Knight Silksong, making it a must-play for fans of those titles.
All three games will be available from May 5, 2026. Subscribers have until that date to claim April's free games: Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream.
