Pop icon Christina Aguilera has partnered with the upscale grocery chain Erewhon to launch a limited-edition holiday smoothie, all while showcasing a festive and eye-catching ensemble. The ‘Genie in a Bottle’ singer, who recently celebrated her 45th birthday on December 18, took to Instagram this week to reveal her ‘Favorite Things’ creation, priced at a premium $20 (approximately £16).

A Festive Collaboration and Dazzling Look

In a series of snaps and clips shared on Wednesday, Aguilera was seen personally blending the ingredients for the seasonal drink. The recipe includes oat milk, organic coconut water, a holiday raspberry sauce, organic dates, and organic chia seeds. For the occasion, the star glammed up in a decidedly festive outfit during her visit to an Erewhon store in Los Angeles.

She sported a pair of tiny burgundy hotpants, secured with a thin black belt that accentuated her slim waistline—a feature she has prominently showcased following a reported 50lb weight loss. Her look was completed with a dazzling long-sleeved shirt, sheer red tights, and knee-high black boots. Aguilera’s platinum blonde hair was partially pulled back, adorned with two red ribbons, and she kept accessories minimal with a pair of flashy gold earrings.

More Than Just a Drink: Charity and Celebration

The ‘Favorite Things’ smoothie is more than just a festive treat. Erewhon confirmed that a portion of the proceeds will support The National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH), an essential service providing support to survivors. The full ingredient list also features Biosil Collagen, Erewhon A2 vanilla whey protein, organic banana, almond butter, maple, lucuma, and tocotrenol.

In her Instagram caption, Aguilera expressed her joy, writing, ‘I had such a blast creating my Favorite Things smoothie!!! Loved getting to know the team @erewhon, creating some Christmas magic in the kitchen and spreading a little JOY during my favorite time of the year.’ The star was even filmed playfully spilling a bit of the smoothie and joking, ‘It’s that good.’

Addressing the Spotlight on Her Body

This festive launch comes as Aguilera continues to be in the public eye, recently surprising fans with her age-defying appearance on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’. Her physical transformation has, in the past, sparked unfounded rumours about weight-loss medications like Ozempic.

However, in an August interview with Glamour last year, the mother-of-two directly addressed the ‘media’s obsession’ with her weight. She reflected on the scrutiny she faced from her teenage years onwards and stated she has reached a point of maturity. ‘I have a maturity now where I just don’t give a f*** about your opinion… It must be your responsibility to take up your space. Other people’s opinions of me are not my business,’ she told the publication.

On a celebratory note, Aguilera is also promoting her upcoming CBS television special, ‘Christmas in Paris,’ set to air on December 22. The special, which features performances of holiday classics and her hits with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop, has also been released as a live album and had limited theatrical screenings.
