A Scottish actor, novelist, and playwright has been revealed as the nation's most influential TikTok creator for 2025, describing the accolade as a "true honour" in his mission to share Scotland's stories with a global audience.
Storyteller Tops the Charts
Kenny Boyle, known on the platform as @kennyboyleofficial, has secured first place in the annual ranking compiled by leading Scottish PR agency Spey, part of the Muckle Media Group. The 41-year-old creator, with 137,500 followers, achieved a remarkable engagement rate of 24.77%, meaning his content is liked and shared more frequently than that of his fellow Scottish creators on the platform.
"I love Scotland, and I love sharing stories about Scotland’s culture, language, and incredibly rich and totally fascinating folklore and mythology," Boyle said. He added that it was an honour to ensure the nation's spoken word traditions thrive in the digital age, concluding with his signature phrase: "Follow me, I know the way."
