Iconic noughties girl group Mis-Teeq are reportedly in serious discussions to reunite for a major one-off performance, with a spot on Britain's Got Talent being a prime possibility. This potential comeback is timed to celebrate the monumental 25th anniversary of their debut album, 'Lickin' On Both Sides', which was first released in 2001 and peaked at number three in the Official Charts.
From Legal Feud to Friendly WhatsApp Chats
The road to this potential reunion has not been smooth. Six years ago, Sabrina Washington threatened to sue bandmate Alesha Dixon over unpaid royalties, claiming she had "wrongfully claimed" writing credits for their early singles 'Why?' and 'All I Want'. Alesha's spokesperson defended her position at the time, stating she wrote the raps and was entitled to a share.
However, that acrimony now appears to be firmly in the past. A source revealed the trio are back on speaking terms and even have an active 'Mis-Teeq WhatsApp group' where they regularly check in and "talk about business". Su-Elise recently confirmed Sabrina was "back in the fold", signalling a significant thaw in relations that makes a reunion feasible for the first time since their 2005 split.

A full-scale reunion tour has been ruled out, unlike recent revivals by Girls Aloud and the Spice Girls. Instead, the focus is on a singular, high-impact event.
A performance on ITV's Britain's Got Talent is a leading idea, not least because Alesha Dixon has served as a judge on the show for years. An intimate gig for dedicated fans is another option on the table. A source close to the group said, "At the minute, lots of things are being discussed... one thing that has come up is the idea of a one-off show."
