King Charles led the nation in a two-minute silence this morning, honouring those who lost their lives in conflict. Around 10,000 veterans participated in the Royal British Legion march-past, with approximately 20 World War Two veterans in attendance.

The sombre ceremony followed a night of remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall. The Festival of Remembrance saw Kate Middleton and Prince George join the King and Queen.
