Comedian and television personality Alan Carr has revealed ambitious plans to purchase his own historic castle as part of a new Disney+ series, marking a significant personal milestone as he approaches his 50th birthday. The announcement comes fresh from his triumphant victory in the celebrity edition of The Traitors at the end of 2025, where his experience in the show's castle setting appears to have inspired this extraordinary real-life venture.

The new programme, titled 'Castle Man', will follow Carr as he embarks on what producers describe as "the biggest gig of his life" - acquiring and managing a grand historic property. "Since I was a boy in Northampton, I've always dreamt big, and have always been enchanted with the history and romance of a stately home and as I turn fifty, I feel it's my time. All I want is a turret to call my own - get me over that drawbridge!"
