In the series, Kayce meets Belle Skinner, a former undercover specialist with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives who is new to the unit. Skinner is revealed to be a talented horse rider from a well-known family of cutting horse breeders, though she asks Kayce to keep this background private. Kebbel explained to Us Weekly: "We pull the layers back very slowly with Belle and she relates to Kayce because they’re both the local folks from Montana. Folks out there have a different way of doing things. We learn that she also comes from a very wealthy family — and with that comes a lot of secrets and responsibility."
Arielle Kebbel's Background and Early Career
Arielle Kebbel is a 41-year-old actress and model born in Winter Park, Florida. Her mother, Sheri, owns a production company. Before acting, Kebbel was a full-time model and was first runner-up at the 2002 Miss Florida Teen USA pageant. She trained at the Lisa Maile Image, Modeling & Acting School in Florida and has appeared in magazines including Men's Health and FHM.

In her personal life, Kebbel was in a relationship with her The Vampire Diaries co-star Zach Roerig. She announced the relationship in April 2025 after footage from a fan convention showed Roerig surprising her with flowers before they shared a kiss. The pair had reconnected while filming Hallmark's 2023 movie Love in the Great Smoky Mountains: A National Park Romance, where they played love interests.
Roerig, 41, is known for roles as Casey Hughes in As the World Turns and Hunter Atwood in One Life to Live, and has a daughter born in January 2011. The couple broke up in February 2026, with Kebbel telling Kaitlyn Bristowe on her Off the Vine podcast that she hasn't "been in a relationship in quite some time." When asked whether she should receive condolences or congratulations after the split, she said: "I’ve had this conversation with many girlfriends going through either a breakup or a divorce and some is 'I’m sorry' because there is so much love and grief there, and others are 'congratulations' because it’s the hardest best thing you could do for yourself. So, I actually do understand both."
