Coronation Street is set for a week of high-stakes drama, with a heartbreaking split and a violent assault that will leave residents of the famous cobbles reeling.
A Relationship Torn Apart
Viewers will witness the emotional collapse of Carla Connor and Lisa Swain's romance after relentless meddling from Lisa's ex, Becky Swain. The situation reaches a breaking point when Becky deliberately engineers a scenario to make it appear she and Lisa have been intimate. After being stood up for lunch, a furious Carla arrives at Lisa's house to find Becky wearing Lisa's bathrobe. When Lisa fails to support her, a heartbroken Carla makes the decisive call to end their relationship, leaving Lisa stunned.
Sinister Threats and a Brutal Attack
Parallel to the relationship turmoil, a dark cloud of danger looms. Becky receives a funeral wreath with a threatening note, sparking panic. Although she confronts her former boss, the menacing DI Costello, she doesn't believe he is responsible. The plot thickens as Becky is seen taking pictures of teenage girls, one of whom is believed to be Costello's daughter. Soon after, DI Costello vanishes and is later discovered to have been brutally attacked. Suspicion immediately falls on Becky, with Kit Green alerting Lisa to the possibility that Becky could be behind the vicious assault.

The drama extends beyond the central love triangle. In a separate but equally distressing storyline, Carl Webster continues his cruel manipulation of his sister, Debbie Webster. He alters an invoice for Tracy Barlow's flower shop to make it seem Debbie has claimed payment for a service that remains unpaid. This leads to a furious confrontation with a tearful and confused Debbie, whose dementia symptoms are worsening. Carl seizes the opportunity to gain control of the accounting system, locking out Ryan Connor. Meanwhile, Carl's affair with Abi Franklin, the wife of his brother Kevin Webster, continues to cause devastation.
