He forced them to sign over their farm land and then manipulated Robert into planting false ID documents in Moira Dingle's home, linking her to Celia Daniels' crimes, which were later revealed to include human trafficking.
This left Moira in serious legal trouble, all part of Joe's scheme to pressure her into selling her land. Just days ago, his plan succeeded as Moira, wrongfully imprisoned for a double murder she did not commit, finally gave in. However, Joe's victory was short-lived when he discovered that if Kim Tate were to die, he would not inherit the Home Farm estate, leaving him furious and feeling his efforts were wasted.
