Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton enjoyed a date night on Tuesday in New York City. The lovebirds, who have been dating for the past six months, were seen holding hands in public for the very first time as their romance seems to be heating up.
Date Night Details
The 45-year-old The Fifth Wheel actress and the 41-year-old Formula 1 race car driver were leaving the Broadway play The Fear Of 13 starring Adrien Brody. Hamilton was wearing more bling than his lady love as he had on diamond earrings and a diamond tennis necklace while in a taupe leisure suit with boots.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians veteran showed off her slender figure in a sexy, strappy turquoise satin top that had a corset-design midsection. That showstopping top was paired with worn-in acid-washed pale blue denim jeans that hung down by her hips. Adding glam to the look was a pair of pale gray strappy black rhinestone-encrusted heels that flashed a fresh pink pedicure.
A Growing Romance
The two have known each other for over 10 years, but only became romantic in November. This comes just after Kardashian made a splash at Monday's Met Gala as a blonde in an orange chest plate with matching skirt and heels. Kardashian and her creative director, Nadia Lee Cohen, tapped British pop artist Allen Jones to help her embody the Fashion Is Art dress code. 'I have seen his work referenced so many times by people in fashion, and I've always been a big admirer of his work,' Kardashian told Vogue.
The power couple were first linked in November. They also spent New Year's Eve together in Aspen with friends. By early February, Kardashian and Hamilton were seen on a romantic weekend trip in Europe. They were reportedly spotted in the Cotswolds and later travelled from the UK to Paris. That same month, they made a public appearance together in the same VIP booth at the Super Bowl.
In early March, they enjoyed a luxurious trip together in Utah, and at the end of the month, the pair traveled to Tokyo alongside Kardashian's kids. He did not let go of her hand as they headed to a waiting car. The star reportedly brought along her three youngest children: Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, six. They were also seen together at Coachella and shopping for furniture together in Los Angeles. In late April, the duo were seen kissing and hugging each other while paddle boarding in Malibu. They looked very in love as they laughed and held hands while sharing loving glances.
Kardashian's Broadway Debut
Kardashian has a link to The Fear Of 13. The star is part of the production team for the stage show, which tells the true story behind the wrongful conviction of Nick Yarris. In a statement, she said: 'My commitment to criminal justice reform has always been about more than just policy – it's about people. I've learned that sometimes the most effective way to change minds is through a powerful story. The Fear of 13 is that story.'
'It's a raw, honest look at Nick Yarris' wrongful conviction and the systemic failures that kept him behind bars for twenty years. I couldn't be prouder to make my Broadway producing debut with a project that carries such vital weight.' The show, which stars Brody and Tessa Thompson, tells the story of Yarris having to spend 22 years on death row before he was exonerated through DNA testing in 2003.
The synopsis for the show reads: 'Nick's got a story to tell you. About how a routine traffic stop turned into a conviction for murder. About how he spent the next 22 years on death row. About how he finally petitioned the court to ask not for an appeal — but for his execution date. And about what happened next…'
The All's Fair actress has been an advocate for helping the wrongfully convicted, and she was inspired to join the team. She explained in an Instagram video: 'For the past decade, criminal justice reform has been a deeply personal mission of mine. I've seen first hand how the system can fail, and I've committed myself to fighting for those who have been silenced.' She noted how theatre is a 'unique' artform which can help provoke real change.
