ITV's popular daytime panel show Loose Women has bid farewell to another key staff member, as a major behind-the-scenes shake-up continues. Host Kaye Adams delivered the sad news to viewers during Friday's broadcast, confirming the departure of a long-serving producer.
Farewell to a Cherished Producer
As the episode drew to a close on Friday, December 19, Kaye Adams, who was hosting alongside Denise Welch, Katie Piper, and Jane Moore, announced that producer Helen Stuart was leaving the programme. "We also have to say a very, very fond farewell to our lovely producer, Helen, who is going off to pastures new. So, you take with us your love, Helen," Adams told the audience. Her co-panellists quickly added their own good luck messages.
This announcement comes just days after another significant exit. On Wednesday, December 17, Kaye Adams revealed that producer Eleanor Cotter, known as 'Elle', was also departing after an impressive 11-year stint. Adams admitted she might "have a little cry" over the loss, while fellow presenter Nadia Sawalha expressed the team's sadness.
Wider Changes Behind the Scenes
The producer exits are part of a broader wave of change affecting the ITV daytime lineup. Adams acknowledged that it was "a few last days" in their current studio, as the show prepares to relocate. She also thanked floor manager Katie Keates, who is among several crew members moving on.
These staff changes are directly linked to ITV's previously announced plans to overhaul its daytime schedule. From January 2026, Loose Women, alongside Lorraine, This Morning, and Good Morning Britain, will broadcast from a new central London location. The shows will also operate under a restructured timetable.
What the Future Holds for Loose Women
The restructuring will see Loose Women revert to its classic 12.30pm to 1.30pm slot, but it will now air on a 30-week "seasonal basis". One of the most notable changes for fans is the decision to scrap the live studio audience.
This move means comedian Lee Peart will step down from his role as the show's warm-up act, a position he has held since 2017. Before his exit, Peart made a final on-screen appearance during Friday's show, presenting the competition segment usually fronted by Jeff Brazier.
The combined effect of these changes—relocation, schedule shifts, and the loss of a live audience—marks one of the most significant transformations for the long-running chat show in recent years, signalling a new era for ITV's daytime output.
