Vogue Williams' Botox Confession in I'm A Celeb Reveals Body Insecurities
Vogue Williams reveals Botox use in I'm A Celeb

In a surprisingly candid moment within the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! camp, television personality Vogue Williams has made a heartbreaking admission about her appearance and revealed her use of cosmetic procedures to combat ageing.

Jungle Confessions

The 40-year-old star, married to Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthews, confessed to fellow campmate Ruby Wax that she is not entirely happy with how she looks. During a deep conversation initiated by Wax, who is known for her probing questions, Williams disclosed that she has employed permanent lip liner to enhance her appearance.

This revelation came after Vogue expressed feeling "so ugly" and remarked that "everyone is so good looking it’s so annoying." When Ruby Wax pressed her on whether she had undergone any other treatments, Vogue openly admitted: "Loads of Botox."

Ruby Wax, speaking later to the Bush Telegraph, related her own experiences with cosmetic surgery. "I’ve had things removed and things lifted," she said, recalling a conversation with Jennifer Saunders. "I said to Jennifer Saunders once, ‘do you know what’s great? Is that you can’t notice it’, and she said ‘are you kidding? Of course you can.'"

New Campmates and Jungle Trials

Vogue Williams and late arrival Tom Read Wilson joined the camp after the original contestants, a move that could have caused friction. However, the existing campmates appeared to welcome the new energy. Footballer Alex Scott commented, "They’ve brought a new energy to the group… I would say that much."

The camp's focus then turned to the latest Bushtucker Trial. After Alex Scott and Jack Osbourne received the most votes from the public, the new duo, Vogue and Tom, were given the power to select their teammates for the 'Dreaded Dunnies' challenge. They chose Martin Kemp and EastEnders star Shona McGarty to assist them.

The trial required the celebrities to retrieve a tool from inside a makeshift toilet to begin unscrewing stars, all while being surrounded by a host of jungle creepy crawlies. The group triumphed, successfully securing all 12 stars for the camp.

As a reward for their win, the celebrities were treated to an Ostrich egg for dinner. This was complemented by popcorn, earned after the camp completed their fishing and shelter tasks successfully.

Life Beyond the Jungle

Before entering the camp, Vogue Williams hinted at her strategy, comparing it to the popular BBC show The Traitors. "I would not mind causing a bit of mischief, a bit like Traitors vibes," she laughed. "I don’t want to annoy anyone, but I think I am very much willing to go along with the game."

Despite the potential for jungle mischief, her primary concern was being away from her family. Vogue and Spencer Matthews share three children: son Theodore, six, daughter Gigi, four, and youngest son Otto, three. "My only real worry is missing the kids and missing Spencer and missing my family," she confessed.

To ease her mind, the organised star had completed all her Christmas shopping and prepared food shops for the next four weeks before leaving. "I have organised everything down to a tee because I kind of do all that stuff at home, so I have got everything organised so I do not have to worry when I get back," she explained.

She also had to be strategic about telling her children about her jungle adventure, aware of their tendency to share news. "I had to be careful telling my kids, because they have a bigger mouth than me," she laughed. To prepare them, she showed them the previous series, and they loved watching the contestants face their fears. "So if I get thrown in with rats, that will be their dream," she added.

This isn't the first time the Matthews family has faced the jungle; Spencer Matthews was a contestant in 2015 but was forced to leave early due to his steroid use.
