Jack Fincham reveals relapse, only £20 left and can't afford rehab
Jack Fincham broke, relapsed and can't afford rehab

Former Love Island champion Jack Fincham has made a stark and emotional confession, revealing he has relapsed after a period of sobriety and is now facing a desperate financial and personal crisis.

A Drunken Relapse and a Public Kiss

In a candid interview with The Sun, the 34-year-old reality star admitted he started drinking heavily again just weeks before Christmas last year. He confessed that this single decision quickly "spiralled" out of control, leading him to use drugs and nitrous oxide (laughing gas).

Jack's relapse had a very public consequence. He was photographed in a passionate embrace with Married At First Sight UK star Leisha Lightbody, 31, at Tulleys Farm's Christmas light festival in November. Fincham now says he was so intoxicated he has no memory of the kiss.

"I am embarrassed, mortified . . . of course I am, I feel like an idiot," he stated, adding, "I am a 33-year-old man, I should be settled down, married." This was his first public romantic link since his on-off relationship with TOWIE's Chloe Brockett finally ended.

Financial Despair: "The Love Island Millions Have Gone"

The core of Fincham's current struggle is a severe lack of funds to address his health issues. He openly stated that the fortune he earned from winning Love Island in 2018 has completely vanished.

To illustrate his point, he reportedly pulled out a single £20 note during the interview, claiming it was all the money he had to his name, with nothing left in the bank.

This financial crisis directly impacts his ability to seek help. Jack revealed he desperately needs to enter a rehabilitation clinic but does not qualify for treatment via the NHS and cannot afford to pay for private care.

"I need rehab but the Love Island millions have gone, I can't afford it," he said bluntly.

Hitting "Rock Bottom" and a New YouTube Journey

This revelation follows a recent, raw Instagram video where Jack spoke about hitting "absolute rock bottom." Dressed in a colourful Fila tracksuit, he admitted to taking bad advice and surrounding himself with the wrong people.

"Every mistake that I’ve made, I own them all," he told followers, insisting he was not playing the victim. He announced the launch of a YouTube channel to document his journey from this low point, promising "messy, uncut, raw" content in his own words.

"If you've ever felt you're at rock bottom, or there was no way out, this YouTube channel is definitely for you," he said, framing his struggle as a potential source of connection and hope for others.

The future for the former reality star remains uncertain as he grapples with addiction without the means to access the specialist support he believes he needs.
