Former Love Island contestant Paige Thorne has joyfully announced that she is expecting her first child. The reality television personality, aged 28, shared the exciting news on her Instagram account on Monday evening, posting alongside her partner, professional boxer Drew Wedlake.

The couple posted a tender video filmed on a beach, showcasing Paige's growing baby bump as she wore a stylish yellow co-ord outfit. In the clip, Paige is seen holding an ultrasound scan while Drew affectionately kisses her stomach. They accompanied the post with a loving caption that read: 'Half of me & half of you. You are already loved infinitely, baby Wedlake due September.'

A number of Paige's former Love Island co-stars quickly flooded the comments section with warm messages of congratulations. Rosie Williams wrote: 'So special, congratulations beautiful', while Danica Taylor commented: 'Finally my girl'. Tasha Ghouri added: 'This is so so beautiful congratulations'.
Rapid Relationship Progression
Paige and Drew made their relationship Instagram official in July of last year and have since been spotted together at various red carpet events, as well as enjoying several holiday getaways. Remarkably, Paige moved in with Drew after just three months of dating, relocating from her hometown of Swansea to Bristol.
Reflecting on this significant life change last month, Paige admitted: 'Basically I moved in with my boyfriend after a very short time of knowing each other aka three months. I have moved in to Bristol away from my family, away from my routine, away from my home life. I found that adjustment very difficult so I kept going back to Swansea back to here, never having a routine, never sitting down.'
Drew's Background and Paige's Love Island Journey
Drew Wedlake previously auditioned for the 2017 series of The X Factor before pursuing his boxing career. Paige, a former paramedic, joined the eighth season of Love Island in 2022, set in a South African villa. During her time on the show, she enjoyed a romance with fellow contestant Jacques O'Neill, coupling up with him multiple times, including after the Casa Amor twist. However, she was left single when Jacques chose to exit the villa.
Paige then became serious with Adam Collard, but the couple was ultimately dumped by the public vote. They split shortly after the show concluded. Prior to her relationship with Drew, Paige was in a relationship with rapper Formz, whose real name is Josh Foreman; that relationship ended in 2024.
Paige's Love Island journey concluded on day 56 when she was dumped from the villa. Now, she and Drew are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child together this September, marking a new and joyful chapter in their lives.
