Oasis Brothers Captured Smiling Together in Rare Backstage Moments for New Photography Book

Liam and Noel Gallagher, the famously feuding brothers of Britpop band Oasis, are seen sharing a smile together backstage in newly released photographs. These rare images of camaraderie are set to feature in an upcoming book that chronicles their highly anticipated reunion tour, offering fans a glimpse into the siblings' reconciliation.

The Oasis Live '25 Opus: A Photographic Journey Through the Reunion Tour

The collection, titled The Oasis Live '25 Opus, serves as a comprehensive photographic journey through the band's world tour. It features behind-the-scenes snapshots not only of the group members but also of their devoted fans. Created in close collaboration with the Gallaghers themselves, all photos were captured by renowned photographer Simon Emmett, who also shot the initial reunion tour announcement image that first showed Liam and Noel side by side.

Emmett described the significance of his work: "When I saw the reaction to the photo, it was obvious to me that this wasn't a single event. The photograph was the beginning of something. I felt strongly that this needed to be documented. There was no facade, this was genuine." He added: "I just hope that in some small way that it has captured the essence of joy of it."

Four Distinct Editions Scheduled for Release with Charitable Auction

Four distinct editions of the photography book are scheduled for release starting from May 2026. Each edition will feature a foreword personally penned by photographer Simon Emmett. In a charitable gesture, the very first copy of the Supernova Edition, numbered 001, will be put up for auction on November 19 at the Legends Ball at Grosvenor House.

All proceeds from this auction will benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust, continuing Oasis's long-standing support for the charity. Jane Ashton, head of music and entertainment at Teenage Cancer Trust, expressed profound gratitude: "This is such a special fundraiser for us as Oasis have been huge supporters of the charity for almost 25 years, and we're so very grateful to them for choosing us to receive the proceeds from the first edition... I know that the sale of this first edition will help us be there for more young people who need us, when they need them the most."

Historical Context: From Dramatic Split to Celebrated Reunion

The Oasis reunion tour was officially announced in August 2024, marking fifteen years since their dramatic 2009 split. That breakup famously followed a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. Throughout their career, the rock band has achieved remarkable success with eight number one singles and albums in the UK charts.

Their catalog includes iconic tracks such as 'Wonderwall', 'Champagne Supernova', and 'Some Might Say' among their most celebrated hits. The band first performed for the Teenage Cancer Trust back in 2002, establishing a charitable connection that now extends to this new photographic project.

The release of The Oasis Live '25 Opus represents not just a documentation of musical history but a visual testament to one of rock music's most watched reconciliations. Fans worldwide eagerly await these rare behind-the-scenes glimpses into the brothers' renewed partnership.
