Paris Fury's Hospital Dash with Daughter Athena as Tyson Prepares for Comeback
Paris Fury faced a parental emergency this weekend, rushing her four-year-old daughter Athena to hospital after another accident-prone fall. The incident unfolded as her husband, boxing legend Tyson Fury, intensifies training for his highly anticipated comeback fight scheduled for April 11.
Athena's Latest Scare and Family Dynamics
The lively youngster, who has previously broken her leg and an arm according to older sister Venezuela, suffered a fresh tumble that left her requiring a wheelchair. While doctors confirmed no new break after initial assessment, they ordered further checks due to lingering soreness, with Paris sharing updates via Instagram Stories from the hospital.
"So this was our Sunday afternoon, Athena is ok," Paris, 36, captioned a photo showing her daughter in Wicked-themed pyjamas with a designer bag nearby. "She fell and we thought she had broke her arm. The doctors said it's not but want to double check tomorrow... Hopefully better tomorrow and confirm no brakes."
With seven children to manage, Paris delegated responsibilities during the crisis, leaving 16-year-old Venezuela in charge of younger siblings while she attended to Athena at A&E.
Tyson's Career Crossroads and Past Trauma
The hospital visit comes at a pivotal moment for the Fury family, as Tyson prepares to face Arslanbek Makhmudov in what marks his return to professional boxing. Coincidentally, the second season of their Netflix documentary series At Home With The Furys premieres the same month, offering fans unprecedented access to their lives.
This incident inevitably recalls past medical traumas involving Athena, who survived a life-threatening episode shortly after birth. In his autobiography Gloves Off, Tyson recounted the harrowing moment in 2022 when Paris called screaming "The baby's died" after Athena became unresponsive and her heartbeat faded.
"I sprinted to the ward as fast as I could, fearing the worst," Fury wrote, describing how medical teams at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool performed resuscitation. "My baby's life was hanging in the balance and my name and what I did for a living wasn't going to change a thing."
Family Resilience and Social Media Updates
While Paris managed the hospital situation, teenager Venezuela kept followers informed via TikTok, humorously noting Athena's accident-prone nature. "My mam said the baby's broke around, I think, or she'd sprained it," she explained. "So, you know – a little delicate, fragile thing she is. She's only four. She's broken her leg, her arm and her other arm now."
The Fury family continues to navigate the dual pressures of elite sports preparation and ordinary parenting challenges, demonstrating remarkable resilience through medical emergencies both past and present.
